Booking

Click on the runs below to book (free for members).  If booking is indicated as required, please only attend if you have successfully booked a place.

Booking may be required if there is limited capacity or if the run may be cancelled at short notice, for example, if no one books or the weather becomes adverse.  Pre-book to avoid disappointment on the day.

Booking is preferred as it helps us to manage leader availability and provides for a quick start to the session as we already have your emergency contact details and medical information readily available in the unlikely event of any kind of incident.

For regular club nights and some special events, booking is optional.

Please only attend if you are Covid-19 symptom free and have not been told to self-isolate.

If you have pre-booked and can no longer come, please cancel to allow others to attend.

Emails: If you don't receive a booking confirmation email please check here before attempting to rebook. The emails are often being blocked as spam as they are fairly repetitive!

Please note that the named leaders may be changed without notice if the listed leaders are unable to lead for any reason.

Gears

Sessions are divided into gears based on ability.

Please choose a session which matches your gear (see here for gears).

Runners from higher gears are welcome to join in with lower gear sessions, but be aware you may end up running more slowly than usual, looping back or waiting, which is how we, as a club, operate for inclusivity.

If a distance is given, you should be comfortable that you can run that distance (although if it is longer than 5km or off road, then not as fast as your 5km pace).

If a session is an effort session, then expect to be breathless, sweaty!

On Road session - Some hills. Pre-booking Required. For gear 3 and above. Sunday social run around Aylesbury. Faster runners welcome with the expectation of looping back where required which will increase the mileage. Optional tea/coffee afterwards. Approximately 10 miles. With leader Victoria Gees-Thornton.
Off Road session - Hilly. Pre-booking Preferred. For gear 4 and above. A comfortable country caper. Approximately 13 miles. Advised: off-road/trail shoes. With leader Emma Wells.

On Road session - Some hills. Pre-booking Preferred. For gear 3 and above. For gear 3 and above Mainly away from roads on paths through countryside Approximately 12 miles. With leader William Blundell.
On Road session - Some hills. Pre-booking Preferred. For all gears. Between 3 and 5 miles depending on gear. With leader Gavin Brown.

On Road session - Flat. Pre-booking Optional. For all gears. Mini hill efforts. Note there is approximately a 1 mile warm up run to the start of this activity. Alternatively, if you would like a shorter run, you may join the session at the apex of the bridge over the railway on Churchill Avenue at 7:10pm suitably warmed up. From 2 miles depending on gear. With leaders Monika Yarnell,Emma Wells,Graham Simmons,Phillip Hockley.
On Road session - Some hills. Pre-booking Optional. For all gears. Between 4 and 6 miles depending on gear. Advised: Reflectives/Hi-Vis. With leaders Tim Woolley,Andrew Donnithorne,Angela Hollands,Jackie Sturt,Roger Rae,William Blundell.

On Road session - Flat. Pre-booking Preferred. For all gears. Between 3 and 5 miles depending on gear. Advised: head/chest torch,Reflectives/Hi-Vis. With leaders Sal Quao,Andrew Lee.
Mixed Terrain session - Flat. Pre-booking Preferred. For gear 1 and above. A leisurely 5K run with recovery walks and loop backs as required. Mostly on road with a bit of Bedgrove park (weather and conditions permitting) Suitable for beginners who can run 3 miles with some stops. Approximately 3 miles. Strongly Advised: Reflectives/Hi-Vis. With leader Amanda Bonifas.
On Road session - Flat. Pre-booking Preferred. For gear 3 and above. Approximately 5 miles. With leader Ben Stykuc.
